Building community is a building block of the Cancer Pathways Midwest program, and what better way to do it than having fun and enjoying great food. We host a variety of social activities to help take your mind off cancer, to forge new friendships and to strengthen family bonds.
From dinners, to themed-parties, to family activities, all of our fun is free of charge.
Our peer-to-peer connection group is made up of compassionate, inspiring people who have walked a similar journey as you.
The “Thrive Tribe” program is built around a variety of individuals with stories connected to cancer that want to help lighten the load for others. Survivors, caregivers, family, friends and co-workers…all ready to share how they’ve dealt with comparable situations or had the same questions.
It is likely at this point in time you may be frustrated, confused and uncertain about what to expect. Whether you've been through cancer treatment or are a caregiver, you may be facing challenges that you never expected. Sometimes, we just need someone to talk to. Someone who has an open heart and ears. Someone that has been down the path you are about to face. We can get through what life gives us - together. You will find encouragement in the support you receive from the Thrive Tribe.Richard
Upcoming Social Activities
Cancer Pathways Midwest gave me support after my breast cancer diagnosis. Members of my group “get it” and we share each others’ struggles, concerns and encourage each other. It’s a great place of support!Ellen
